Ashley Veach enters her first season as Lander's assistant women's soccer coach. Veach was hired in August of 2019.

Prior to arriving in Greenwood, Veach spent five years coaching at the collegiate and club levels following a four-year career with the Ole Miss volleyball program, where she was part of 52 victories with the Rebels. 

During her time at Ole Miss, Veach played in 369 sets and was named to the Southeastern Conference's Athletic Academic Honor Roll three times. 

Veach joined the coaching staff at Birmingham-Southern College in 2014, where she helped lead the Panthers to three consecutive 20-win seasons and the first NCAA Tournament victory in program history in 2015. She spent the 2018-19 season as a graduate intern with Baylor's volleyball program. Veach has also served as a head coach with the Waco Juniors Volleyball Club and the Birmingham Volleyball Club. 

A native of Alpharetta, Ga., Veach won three state championships as a member of the Northview H.S. volleyball program and was named the Georgia 5A Player of the Year in 2008. She set the program record for aces (272) as well as the single-season ace record (90) in 2006. She also set the single-season digs record (562) in 2008.
