Bearcats in 16th place at Flagler Fall Slam

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Lander women's golf team opened with a first round 42-over par 330 to sit in 16th place at the Flagler Fall Slam at the par-72, Marsh Creek Country Club.

Caroline Hardee and Madison Jordan paced Lander on Monday, as Hardee shot a seven-over par 79 to end the day tied for 48th. Jordan turned in an eight-over par 80 and is tied for 55th. 

Hannah Fesperman finished with a 10-over par 82 and is tied for 70th. Tatum Warr ended the day with a 17-over par 89 and is in 87th place, while Grace Zoller, playing as an individual, shot an 18-over par 90 to move to 88th place. Hannah Stephenson ended the day with a 23-over par 95 and sits in 91st. 

Limestone and Lenoir-Rhyne are tied atop the leaderboard at nine-over par. Lee is four strokes back in third place.  

The second and final round of the tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats will be paired with Eckard.
