Adam Marshall is in his first season as assistant coach of the Lander men's lacrosse program. Marshall was hired in September of 2019.
Marshall joined the Lander staff after a successful three-year stint at Belmont Abbey. Marshall served as the Crusaders' offensive coordinator and coached faceoffs and transition.
Under Marshall's direction, Belmont Abbey averaged 15.1 goals per game in 2019 and earned the program's first NCAA Touranment berth. The Crusaders also captured a conference championship in 2018.
In January of 2019, Marshall was named the head coach of the German National men's field lacrosse team. As an assistant for the German National indoor team, Marshall helped guide the club to a fourth-place finish at the 2017 European Box Lacrosse Championships. His international coaching career also featured stints as the head coach of the KKHT Schwarz-Weiß Köln Lacrosse Club and HLC Rot-Weiß München. Marshall also worked as an assistant for the Turkish National men's senior lacrosse team.
Marshall was tabbed to start the men's lacrosse program at Grand Canyon University in 2007 and led the Lopes for three seasons.
A 2004 graduate of Mary Washington College with a bachelor of arts in history, Marshall played collegiate lacrosse at Radford.
