Shaw sisters, Barbour, named to All-Southeast team

GREENWOOD - Three Lander women's soccer players -- sisters Jamie and Danielle Shaw, along with Christina Barbour -- were included on the NSCAA All-Southeast Region team it was recently announced.

Jamie Shaw was named a first-team forward, while defender Danielle Shaw and forward Barbour were tabbed on the third team.

Jamie Shaw, a junior from Columbia, S.C., was second in the Peach Belt Conference with a school-record 79 shots, fifth in goals scored (10) and seventh in points scored (23).

Barbour, a senior from Mooresville, N.C., led the PBC with a school-record nine assists, was third in points scored (27) and seventh in goals scored (9).

Danielle Shaw, a sophomore from Columbia, S.C., helped anchor a defense which allowed just 0.86 goals per game.
