Katherine Baltz named PBC Goalkeeper of the Week

GREENWOOD - Katherine Baltz, a senior on the Lander women's soccer team, was selected as the Peach Belt Conference Goalkeeper of the Week it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

Baltz, Tullahoma, Tenn., played every minute in Lander's first two games of the season, giving up just one goal and making 11 saves for a 0.50 goals against average. She was credited with a shutout in a 2-0 win over Wingate and also recorded a 3-1 win against North Greenville.

She is second in the PBC in goals against average and saves.
