Lander 18th entering final day of World Golf Invitational

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Lander women's golf team sits in 18th place after day one of the World Golf Invitational at the par-72, 6,049-yard Slammer & Squire Course at the World Golf Village.

Hannah Fesperman led the Bearcats with a seven-over 79 and is tied for 41st. Hannah Stephenson and Caroline Hardee both shot an 11-over 83 and are currently tied for 74th. Grace Zoller is tied for 85th after registering a 13-over 85. Madison Jordan finished day one in 97th with a 20-over 92. 

Lander will tee off for the final round at 8:09 a.m. on Monday. The Bearcats are paired with Illinois-Springfield and Shorter.
