Simonin selected to NSCAA All-Southeast Region team

GREENWOOD - Lander's Clement Simonin, a freshman defender on the Bearcats' men's soccer team, was named to the third team on the NSCAA All-Southeast Region team it was announced recently.

Simonin, a native of Lorient, France, headed the Lander defense, which allowed just 1.98 goals per game and finished the season with an 8-7-2 overall record.

Simonin, who was previously named to the All-Peach Belt Conference team, had one goal and one assist during the season.
