No. 19 men's golf finishes 15th at NCAA Division II Preview

DANIELS, W.V. – The 19th-ranked Lander men's golf team posted a 9-over par 293 on Tuesday for its best round of the week en route to a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Preview at the par-71 Cobb Course at Glade Springs Resort. 

Barry won the event at 12-under par, edging Lynn by three strokes. St. Mary's claimed third place. 

Jon Parker led the Bearcats throughout the week, finishing in a tie for 11th with an even 214. Competing as an individual, Michael Brodie climbed 16 spots in the final round, tying for 32nd at 7-over par. 

Maxime Legros finished at 12-over par to tie for 61st and Conor Cull tied for 69th with 14-over par. Charlie Farrell and Roberto Garagorri both ended the week in a tie for 73rd at 16-over par.

The Bearcats are off next week before heading to Palm Harbor, Fla., for the two-day Copperhead Championship on Oct. 15.
