Bearcats In The Pros: Two 'Cats move, McCullough dealing

GREENWOOD  The professional baseball season is under way for four former Bearcats. Lander has three players in Class A and one in Class AA. 

Will Jones -- P, Staten Island Yankees (A-Short - New York Yankees)
Season: 1-0, 2.84 ERA, 4 G, 0 SV, 6.1 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
Jones picked up his first win of the season on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits with one strikeout in 1.2 innings of relief in Staten Island's victory over Vermont. 

Colby Lusignan -- 1B, Jupiter Hammerheads (A-Advanced - Miami Marlins) 
Season: 81 G, 44 R, 75 H, 19 2B, 3 3B, 9 HR, 49 RBI, 2 SB, .244 AVG
Lusignan was assigned to A-Advanced Jupiter on Saturday and went 1-for-3 with a walk in his Hammerhead debut. The former Bearcat has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games. 

Mason McCullough -- P, Jackson Generals (AA - Arizona Diamondbacks) 
Season: 3-0, 1.76 ERA, 33 G, 4 SV, 41.0 IP, 20 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 22 BB, 71 K
McCullough tossed three shutout innings in three appearances this week for Jackson, extending his scoreless streak to 21.2 innings. The right-hander has struck out four of the last six batters he's faced. 

Brandon White -- P, Florida Fire Frogs (A-Advanced - Atlanta Braves) 
Season: 2-0, 1.94 ERA, 26 G, 10 SV, 41.2 IP, 37 H, 14 R, 9 ER, 10 BB, 39 K
White earned an assignment to A-Advanced Florida on Friday and debuted with the Fire Frogs on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit with two strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work. This marks White's first appearance in the Florida State League.
