Steve, a 1980 graduate of Lander, returned to his alma mater in 1995 and now serves as Alumni Director and Director of the Bearcat Club. He previously was Director of Development and Director of Career Services.

He earned his bachelor's degree in health, physical education and recreation from Lander and his master's from Western Carolina University.

A native of Westminster, S.C., he is the president of the South Carolina Alumni Directors Association.

Steve is a 1975 graduate of Westminster High School, where he was a standout football and basketball player.

Steve and his wife Gayle live in Greenwood.
